The ✨ button writes a new summary — and warns before discarding what you edited.

The meeting and its files go to the Finder Trash together, and you can bring them back.

Transcription is Apple's Speech. The summary is Apple's on-device model. No third-party API is involved.

Questions, answered.
Yes. You pay once, there is no renewal and no account to create. The app is yours, and it keeps working without a single network call.
It needs macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later, and a Mac with Apple Intelligence — the same requirement the system itself has for the local model. The app checks both and tells you which one is missing.
Brazilian Portuguese today. The interface is in Portuguese and English, and the summary language is configurable (automatic, Portuguese or English) — but transcription itself is pt-BR only for now. It is at the top of the list.
Not yet. You ask for the summary with a button on the meeting and it appears on screen. There is a setting to generate it automatically when a meeting ends, but it is not wired up in the current build — we'd rather say so than pretend.
Not really, yet. The microphone list exists in Settings, but recording uses the system default device. This is a known limitation and it's being fixed.
No. The transcript carries the text and the time of each segment, with no participant names. Apple's transcription does not give reliable speaker identification, and we'd rather not invent it.
Yes. Recording, transcribing and summarizing all run on your Mac. Turning the Wi-Fi off changes nothing.
